The cold trickled down my chin as I ate my Popsicle. "Mmm strawberry, my favorite" Anna said. "Mine too" I answered. We closed our eyes and just listened to the wind. The cool breeze brushed against our cheeks as we laid in the warm grass. It had always been this way, under the same old tree, same cool breeze, but this time it was different. my stomach felt as if I had eaten dandelions and my hands were sweaty. "Why?" I said accidentally out loud. "Why what?" Anna asked. "Oh um nothing" I replied nervously. She closed her eyes again. This time i kept mine open. I just watched her.
